Transformative Skills & Livelihood Empowerment Program

Funded by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief)

Abibakr As-Sidiq Philanthropic Home (ASPH) is proud to announce the launch of the Transformative Skills and Livelihood Empowerment Program for Less Privileged Nigerians, generously sponsored by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

This impactful initiative will empower 970 vulnerable individuals in Abuja (FCT) and Kwara State, including internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, widows, unemployed youth, and people living below the poverty line.

Building Sustainable Livelihoods

The program is designed to move beyond temporary assistance by equipping beneficiaries with practical skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and the necessary tools to become economically self-reliant.

Participants will receive hands-on vocational training in high-demand and income-generating fields such as:

  • Tailoring and garment production

  • Catering and food processing

  • ICT and digital literacy

  • Photography & Videography

  • Tricycle & Motorcycle Operation

Upon successful completion of training, beneficiaries will receive starter kits, equipment, and operational support to begin their own businesses or income-generating activities.

A Commitment to Dignity and Economic Independence

This program reflects a shared commitment between KSrelief and ASPH to restore dignity, promote resilience, and reduce poverty among vulnerable communities. By focusing on sustainable skills development and business empowerment, the project aims to create lasting economic transformation in the Federal Capital Territory and Kwara State.

Transparent and Accountable Implementation

The project will be implemented in collaboration with relevant government authorities to ensure transparency, fairness in beneficiary selection, and effective monitoring. Structured follow-up and evaluation mechanisms will be established to ensure that beneficiaries successfully transition into sustainable livelihoods.

Abibakr As-Sidiq Philanthropic Home remains committed to delivering impactful humanitarian and development interventions that create measurable and lasting change.
